According to official reports, a 26-year-old man has been charged with over 70 offences, including child sexual assault, relating to alleged incidents at a Point Cook childcare centre between April 2022 and January 2023. This individual worked at a number of childcare centres across Victoria between January 2017 and May 2025. As a precautionary measure, health authorities are recommending infectious disease testing for approximately 1200 children.
